Freeholder Candidate Erik Peterson is running for Freeholder to preserve and enhance the high quality of life we enjoy in Hunterdon County. Erik is a strong fiscal conservative who believes that aggressive open space and farmland preservation and historic preservation are critical to Hunterdon’s high quality of life. As a proponent of good government, Erik’s platform includes an ethical code of conduct for the county. Erik will bring a fresh perspective to the Freeholder Board.
A life long Republican, Erik has been a long time member of the Hunterdon County Republican Committee, Past President of the Hunterdon County Young Republicans as well as a volunteer for several local and county campaigns. Erik is also active in the community. Erik is a member of the Milford Lions Club and the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce; he is a Trustee for Pedals for Progress, a non-profit organization, and was a volunteer swim coach at the Hunterdon County YMCA.
