Doug
served as Assistant State Treasurer in Governor Tom
Kean’s administration, where he helped New Jersey
maintain a balanced budget. He then served as Pension

official in the nation to properly set aside money
for retiree health obligations. And when the career
politicians in Trenton tried to raid New Jersey's
pension funds to pay for more wasteful state spending,
Doug Forrester stood up and fought to protect the
security of New Jersey’s retirement funds.
Doug served as mayor
